THE CONSTITITION & RULES OF THE LEAGUE

ABERDARE VALLEY SNOOKER LEAGUE RULES & CONSTITUTION
1} A TEAM SHALL CONSIST OF 4 PLAYERS. EACH PLAYING ONE (1) FRAME.
2} A TEAM SHALL BE AWARDED ONE (1) POINT FOR EVERY FRAME WON.
3} EACH LEAGUE MATCH SHALL COMMENCE AT 7.00.p.m. PROMPT
(UNLESS AGREED BY THE OPPOSING TEAM ) 2015
4} ANY CLUB DELIBERATELY FALSIFYING A MATCH CARD SHALL BE DEAL WITH BY THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE IN IT’S ABSOLUTE DISCRETION.
5} THE LEAGUE SHALL BE ORGANISED ON A PROMOTION AND RELEGATION BASIS. IF TEAM ARE EQUAL IN TERMS OF FRAMES WON, THEN DRAWN, TO DECIDE. IF LEVEL, THERE WILL BE A "PLAY OFF” WHEREBY IN THE EVENT OF A DRAW THE CAPTAINS NOMINATE A 5TH MAN TO DECIDE.
5a} INDIVIDUAL WINNERS
SHALL BE DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:
5 b} INDIVIDUAL WINNERS SHALL BE DECIDED BY GAMES WON ONLY. (Not by games played and won)
5 c} SHOULD THERE BE MORE THAN ONE PLAYER ON THE SAME NUMBER OF GAMES PLAYED, WON. THEN NO TROPHIES WILL BE AWARDED TO THE RUNNERS UP.
5 d} OTHERWISE, TROPHIES WILL BE AWARDED TO THE WINNER AND THE RUNNER-UP.
5 e} SHOULD THERE BE MORE THAN ONE (1) RUNNER-UP ON THE SAME NUMBER OF GAMES PLAYED AND WON. THEN EACH OF THOSE PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE A TROPHY
6} A CLUB NOT WISHING TO ACCEPT PROMOTION SHALL STATE THEIR REASONS TO THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE, WHO'S DECISION SHALL BE FINAL.
8} NO LEAGUE MATCH SHALL COMMENCE WITH LESS THAN THREE (3) PLAYERS.
9} TEAMS FAILING TO FULFIL A FIXTURE OR APPEAR BY 7.15.P.M. SHALL BE ORDERED TO PLAY THE MATCH WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THE NEXT MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING, OR WHEN THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE SHALL DECIDE. (CHANGE 2016)
BE DEDUCTED 2 POINTS AND PAY A FINE TO THE LEAGUE OF £4(new 2005) (CHANGE 2016)
(NEW) TEAMS NOT TURNING UP FOR A GAME WILL LOOSE 4 POINTS
GAMES WILL NOT BE REPLAYED & THE OPPOSING TEAMS AWARDED THE 4 POINTS
9a} TEAMS WILL BE ALLOWED TO COME BEFORE THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE AND PRESENT THEIR CASE FOR NOT HAVING 4 POINTS DEDUCTED AND PAYING THE FINE, BUT MUST PUT THIS IN WRITING TO THE SECRETARY 14 DAYS BEFORE THE NEXT MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING (new 2005)
10} A TEAM PLAYING AN UNREGISTERED PLAYER SHALL BE FINED £2.00 AND FORFEIT THE FRAME.
11} IT’S THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HOME TEAM TO ENSURE THAT THE MATCH RESULT IS PHONED INTO THE SECRETARY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTER THE MATCH.
12} FAILURE TO PHONE IN THE RESULT TO THE SECRETARY, ON A REGULAR BASIS, WILL RESULT IN A LETTER BEING SENT TO THE OFFENDING CLUB. WHO IN TURN, WILL HAVE TO APPEAR BEFORE THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE? WHO’S DECISION IS FINAL. (New 2005)
13} A LIST OF REGISTERED PLAYERS SHALL BE DISPLAYED IN ALL CLUBS.
14} THE MATCH CARD MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE COMMENCEMENT OF A MATCH.
15} A DRAW SHALL BE MADE BEFORE ALL LEAGUE MATCHES TO DECIDE OPPONENTS, THE HOME CAPTAIN TO DECIDE THE ORDER OF PLAY.
16} THE FOURTH PLAYER MUST BE AVAILABLE, AT THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE THIRD FRAME.
IF THE PLAYER IS STILL UNAVAILABLE BY THE END OF THE 2ND FRAME, THEN THE OPPOSING TEAM WILL CLAIM A FRAME (NEW 2005)
16 A} CONSIDERATION MUST BE GIVEN TO TEAMS, WHOSE PLAYERS ARE UNAVAILABLE AT THE START OF A MATCH; ANY DISPUTE WILL COME BEFORE THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE, WHOSE DECISION IS FINAL (NEW 2005)
15} REFEREE’S SHALL BE MUTUALLY AGREED BY BOTH CAPTAINS.
16} REFEREE’S AND MARKERS SHALL BE APPOINTED TO ANY MATCH CONSIDERED NECESSARY BY THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.
17} NO PLAYER FROM A RELEGATED CLUB, SHALL PLAY IN THE DIVISION FROM WHICH HE WAS RELEGATED IN THE FOLLOWING SEASON. FURTHERMORE, NO PLAYER WILL BE ALLOWED TO “SIGN DOWN” MORE THAN ONE (1) DIVISION, FROM THE PREVIOUS SEASON. (SEE BY-LAW)
18} PLAYERS RECEIVING A WALKOVER, SHALL BE CREDITED WITH A “WIN” IN INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE TABLE.
19} THE “PLAYER OF THE YEAR” SHALL BE DECIDED BY A SECRET BALLOT ON A ONE CLUB ONE VOTE BASIS, THERE BEING NO LAID DOWN PROCEDURE FOR THE SELECTION. THE CHAIRMAN SHALL HAVE A (CASTING) VOTE. ON THE NIGHT OF THE PRESENTATION, BALLOT PAPERS WILL BE ISSUED TO ONE DELEGATE ONE CLUB. (NEW 2005)
LEAGUE BY-LAWS:
1} PLAYERS SHALL BE BONA-FIDE MEMBERS OF THE CLUBS FOR WHOM THEY ARE REGISTERED.
2} ENTRY FEES SHALL BE £6 PER TEAM TO INCLUDE REGISTRATION FEE. PAYMENT OF THE FEE SHALL DEEM TO BE ACCEPTANCE OF ALL BY-LAWS COMPETITION RULES AND THE CONSTITUTION.
2 a} A FURTHER FEE OF A £1 PER REGISTERED PLAYER WILL BE MADE,(and will include new signings)
2 b} IN ADDITION A £1 ENTRY FEE WILL BE MADE FOR ENTRY TO SINGLES & DOUBLES (NEW 2005)
3} THE SEASON SHALL COMMENCE IN SEPTEMBER OF EACH YEAR.(NEW)
4} TRANSFER OF PLAYERS SHALL ONLY BE ALLOWED DURING THE FIRST HALF OF THE SEASON ONLY, A FEE OF £5 SHALL BE PAYABLE THERE-AFTER.

5} FINES IMPOSED ON PLAYERS OR CLUBS SHALL BE PAID AT THE FOLLOWING MEETING, IN THE EVENT OF NON PAYMENT, THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE SHALL DEAL WITH THE MATTER, EITHER BY WAY OF ADDITIONAL FINE OR SUSPENSION.
6} NO NEW PLAYERS MAY BE REGISTERED AFTER THE FIRST HALF OF THE SEASON, EXCEPT AT THE DISCRETION OF THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.
7} PROTESTS IN RESPECT OF ANY LEAGUE MATCH OR COMPETITION RUN BY THE LEAGUE SHALL BE MADE TO THE SECRETARY WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THE MATCH, ACCOMPANIED BY A FEE OF A £5 WHICH SHALL BE RETURNED IN THE EVENT OF THE PROTEST BEING SUCCESSFUL, THE SECRETARY IN THE FIRST INSTANCE SHALL DECIDE THE PROTEST, BUT AN APPEAL SHALL BE MADE TO AN APPEALS COMMITTEE, WHO SHALL CONSIST OF 2 MEMBERS OF THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE AND THE DELEGATES OF MEMBER CLUBS (OTHER THAN THOSE INVOLVED)AND WHOSE DECISION IS FINAL.
8} ALL LEAGUE TROPHIES SHALL BE VESTED IN THE PRESIDENT AND SECRETARY.
9} NO TROPHIES CAN BE WON OUTRIGHT AND MUST BE IN THE SECRETARIES HAND. BY APRIL OF THAT YEAR. (NEW 2005)
10} HOLDERS OF TROPHIES SHALL SIGN A STATEMENT OF GUARANTEE.
11} EACH AFFILIATED CLUB SHALL APPOINT A DELEGATE WHOSE NAME SHALL BE RECORDED BY THE SECRETARY AND TO WHOM ALL CORRESPONDENCE SHALL BE SENT.
12} A CHANGE OF DELEGATE SHALL BE SENT TO THE SECRETARY WITHIN 7 DAYS OF SUCH AN APPOINTMENT.
13} ANY COMMITTEE MEMBER, DELEGATE, PLAYER, CLUB OR REFEREE FOUND WILFULLY CONTRAVENING THE CONSTITUTION OR BY-LAWS OR GAMBLING ON GAMES ORGANISED BY THE LEAGUE SHALL BE DEALT WITH AS THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE FROM TIME TO TIME DIRECT.
14} A MINIMUM OF SIX (6) PLAYERS MUST BE ON A REGISTRATION FORM BEFORE A TEAM WILL BE ACCEPTED AT A REGISTRATION MEETING, THEREAFTER, A TEAM COMMITTING A SECOND OFFENCE OF NOT FIELDING A SIDE, OR PLAYING THREE (3) PLAYERS WILL RESULT IN IT’S CAPTAIN BEING CALLED BEFORE THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE WHO WILL DEAL WITH THE MATTER AT THEIR DISCRETION.
15} EACH TEAM WILL PAY £3 PER WEEK CONTRIBUTIONS TO BE PAID AT EACH MONTHLY MEETING, WHERE THERE WILL BE A PRIZE DRAW CONSISTING OF 2 X £10 PRIZES (CHANGED)
16} PLAYERS WHO’S TEAMS ARE RELEGATED, THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN, AND THAT TEAM IS NO LONGER IN THE LEAGUE THE FOLLOWING YEAR.
MAY WANT TO CONTINUE TO PLAY IN THE DIVISION THEY WERE RELEGATED FROM. IF SO, PLAYERS MAY PRESENT THEIR CASE TO THE LEAGUE, IN WRITING OR VERBALLY BEFORE THE START OF THAT SEASON. (New 2005)
17} REFEREE’S FOR SEMI-FINALS & FINALS WILL BE APPOINTED BY THE SECRETARY, IN CONSULTATION WITH ALL THE REFEREE’S IN THE LEAGUE.
17 a} TABLES WILL BE ASSESSED BY 2 MEMBERS OF THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE, BEFORE ALL FINALS & SEMI-FINALS, TO ENSURE THAT THE VENUE’S AND TABLES ARE SUITABLE.
18 b} NEW MATCH BALLS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR ALL SEMI-FINALS & FINALS.
19} VENUE’S FOR ALL COMPETITIONS:
ALL VENUES’S AND DATES SET BY THE SECRETARY, CANNOT BE ALTERED, UNLESS AGREEMENT IS REACHED BY THE SECRETARY, AND ALL PLAYERS AND/OR TEAMS CONCERNED (BUT NOT AFTER THE DESIGNATED DATE/S.)(NEW 2006)
20} SEMI-FINALS & FINALS OF ALL COMPETITIONS:

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CAN VENUE’S OR DATES BE ALTERED. (ONCE SET BY THE SECRETARY)(NEW 2006)
21} ABANDONED MATCHES:
IN THE EVENT OF A MATCH BEING ABANDONED, ALL THE PROCEEDING FRAMES BEFORE THE ABANDONMENT WILL STAND. AND THE REMAINING FRAMES WILL BE PLAYED AS PER DRAW, AT A DATE AND TIME SET BY THE SECRETARY. (NEW 2006)

22} THE MISS RULE:
THE MISS RULE HAS NOW BEEN RE-INTRODUCED (IN ALL DIVISIONS)
THE ONLY CONDITION IS AS FOLLOWS: (ONLY 3 MISSES CAN BE CALLED) AT ONE TIME. (NEW 2007) EXCEPTION (WHEN A QUALIFIED REFEREE IS PRESENT)

COMPETITION RULES
SINGLES & DOUBLES.
1} THE ENTRY FEE FOR SINGLES & DOUBLES COMPETITIONS, WILL BE £1 PER PLAYER
2} ALL PLAYERS WILL PLAY IN COMPETITIONS ON THE APPOINTED DAY (OR BEFORE
THE DATE IF ARRANGED. (BUT NO LATER THAN THE APPOINTED DAY)
UNLESS AGREED BY THE SECRETARY & PLAYER(s) (IN ADVANCE) (new 2005)
3} SINGLES & DOUBLES MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED OVER THREE (3) FRAMES UP TO THE SEMI-FINAL ROUND.
3 a} SEMI-FINAL AND FINAL WILL BE OVER FIVE(5) FRAMES.
3b} ALL CUP MATCHES TO TAKE PLACE ON THE TABLE THAT THE FIRST FRAME STARTED ON.
4} ANY PLAYER NOT TURNING UP TO PLAY SINGLES OR DOUBLES WITHOUT A REASONABLE EXCUSE, WILL BE BANNED FROM THE COMPETITION FOR A PERIOD OF 2 YEARS.
APOLOGY LETTERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AS A MEANS OF EXCUSE FROM THE 2 YEAR BAN.
4a} A PLAYER NOT BEING ABLE TO TURN UP IN SINGLES OR DOUBLES MUST NOTIFY THE SECRETARY, VENUE OR CLUB, AND OPPONENTS IN ORDER TO AVOID A 2 YEAR BAN.
5} ANYONE BANNED FROM THE SINGLES OR DOUBLES WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY IN THE INVITATION SINGLES.
5a} ANYONE BANNED FROM THE SINGLES IS NOT BANNED FROM THE DOUBLES.
5b} ANYONE BANNED FROM THE DOUBLES IS NOT BANNED FROM THE SINGLES.
6} THERE IS NO BAN FOR NOT TURNING UP FOR THE INVITATION SINGLES.
7} LOCAL DERBY MATCHES MUST BE PLAYED AT THE HOME CLUB & CAN BE PLAYED AT ANYTIME BEFORE THE ALLOCATED DATE (new 2005)
8} SINGLES & DOUBLES WINNERS MUST PHONE THE SECRETARY IMMEDIATELY AFTER A MATCH, FAILURE TO GET THE RESULT TO THE SECRETARY BY THURSDAY AFTER THE MATCH WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION. (FRIDAY IN THE CASE OF THE INVITATION SINGLES)

9} IN THE SEMI-FINALS & FINALS, REFEREES’S WILL BE APPOINTED BY THE LEAGUE (AND ONLY SUITABLE VENUE’S WILL BE CHOSEN FOR THESE GAMES)
10} VENUE’S FOR ALL COMPETITIONS:
ALL VENUE’S AND DATES SET BY THE SECRETARY, CANNOT BE ALTERED, UNLESS AGREEMENT IS REACHED BY THE SECRETARY, AND ALL PLAYERS AND/OR TEAMS CONCERNED (BUT NOT AFTER THE DESIGNATED DATE/S.)(NEW 2006)
11} SEMI-FINALS & FINALS OF ALL COMPETITIONS:
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CAN VENUE’S OR DATES BE ALTERED. (ONCE SET BY THE SECRETARY)(NEW 2006)
K.O. CUP COMPETITION
1} THE FIRST ROUND OF THE K.O. CUP TO BE PLAYED ON A WEDNESDAY. (ON CONDITION THERE ARE TABLES AVAILABLE)
2} IN THE EVENT OF TWO OR MORE TEAMS FROM THE SAME CLUB BEING DRAWN AT HOME, AND ONE TABLE BEING AVAILABLE, THEN THE OTHER TEAM(s) DRAWN, WILL PLAY AWAY.
3} LOCAL DERBY MATCHES MUST BE PLAYED AT THE HOME CLUB
4} ALL CUP MATCHES TO TAKE PLACE ON THE TABLE THE FIRST FRAME STARTED ON (UNLESS A CLUB HAS MORE THAN ONE TABLE)
5} IN THE EVENT OF A TEAM ONLY PLAYING THREE MEN IN A CUP MATCH, THE FOURTH (4TH) MAN OF THE OPPOSING TEAM WILL BE ACCREDITED WITH A WIN.
6} TEAMS NOT TURNING UP FOR ANY CUP MATCH WILL BE FINED £4, AND IF IN THE PRELIMINARY OR FIRST ROUND OF THE K.O. CUP WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY TO THE CONSOLATION CUP.
7} THE WINNING CAPTAIN IS RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING CUP MATCH RESULTS TO THE SECRETARY IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE MATCH. WINNERS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED IF THE RESULT IS NOT IN BY THURSDAY AFTER THE MATCH.
8} IN THE SEMI-FINALS & FINALS, REFEREES’ WILL BE APPOINTED BY THE LEAGUE (AND ONLY SUITABLE VENUE’S WILL BE CHOSEN FOR THESE GAMES)
9} ANY PLAYER WHO PLAYS FOR A TEAM, AND THEN JOINS ANOTHER TEAM IN THE K.O. CUP COMPETITION, WILL BE CUP TIED FOR THE DURATION OF THE COMPETITION.












CONSOLATION CUP

1} CONSOLATION CUP MATCHES TO TAKE PLACE ON A TUESDAY, ONLY IN THE CASE OF A TEAM BEING DRAW AT HOME, WHOSE CLUB DOES NOT ALLOW TUESDAY NIGHT GAMES MAY THE GAME BE PLAYED ON A WEDNESDAY (IF THEY’RE TABLE IS FREE) SUBJECT TO PRIOR CONFORMATION WITH THE SECRETARY AND THE OPPONENTS.
2} LOCAL DERBY MATCHES MUST BE PLAYED AT THE HOME CLUB & CAN BE PLAYED AT ANYTIME BEFORE THE ALLOCATED DATE
2a} IN THE EVENT OF TWO OR MORE TEAMS FROM THE SAME CLUB BEING DRAWN AT HOME, AND ONE TABLE BEING AVAILABLE, THEN THE OTHER TEAM(s) DRAWN, WILL PLAY AWAY.
3} IN THE EVENT OF A TEAM ONLY PLAYING THREE MEN IN A CUP MATCH, THE FOURTH MAN OF THE OPPOSING TEAM WILL BE ACCREDITED WITH A WIN.
4} THE WINNING CAPTAIN IS RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING CUP MATCH RESULTS TO THE SECRETARY IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE MATCH. WINNERS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED IF THE RESULT IS NOT IN BY THURSDAY AFTER THE MATCH.
5} IN THE SEMI-FINALS & FINALS, REFEREES’ WILL BE APPOINTED BY THE LEAGUE (AND ONLY SUITABLE VENUE’S WILL BE CHOSEN FOR THESE GAMES)
6} ANY PLAYER WHO PLAYS FOR A TEAM, AND THEN JOINS ANOTHER TEAM IN THE CONSOLATION CUP COMPETITION, WILL BE CUP TIED FOR THE DURATION OF THE COMPETITION.
6d1} CONSOLATION CUP: con:
a) ANY TEAM OR PLAYERS ENTERING OR RE-ENTERING THE LEAGUE, WILL NOT BE GIVEN A HANDICAP, IN THEIR FIRST YEAR.
b) ONLY NEW TEAMS/PLAYERS (NOT BEING IN THE LEAGUE PREVIOUSLY) WILL BE GIVEN A HANDICAP.
C) PLAYERS WHO HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO SIGN DOWN WILL NOT BE GRANTED A HANDICAP. (NEW 2006)
D) THE TEAMS THAT FINISHED IN THE BOTTOM FIVE OF THE 2ND DIVISION, (THE PREVIOUS YEAR) WILL BE AWARDED 20 POINTS START, TEAMS WHO FINISHED IN THE TO FIVE OF THE 2ND DIVISION, (THE PREVIOUS YEAR) WILL BE AWARDED 10 POINTS START. TEAMS RE-ENTERING THE LEAGUE WILL NOT BE AWARDED ANY START FOR THAT YEAR (NEW 2008)









INVITATION SINGLES
1} INVITATION SINGLES WILL BE PLAYED ON A THURSDAY
2} THE COMPETITION WILL BE MADE UP OF 64 PLAYERS.
3} PLAYERS WILL BE CHOSEN FROM THE TOP TWO PLAYERS IN EACH TEAM, WHO WERE THE TOP OF THEIR AVERAGES THE PREVIOUS YEAR. ALSO, THE WINNERS & RUNNERS UP, FROM THE PREVIOUS SEASON. (CHANGED 2016)
ALL PLAYERS WHO ENTER THE SINGLES CAN PLAY IN THE INVITATION SINGLES
4} EACH PLAYER WILL BE GIVEN 10 START PER DIVISION THEY WERE IN THE PREVIOUS YEAR. (E.g., 3rd division player 20 start 2nd division 10 start 1st division no start)
5} IN THE EVENT OF NOT ENOUGH ENTRIES, THE SECRETARY WILL CHOOSE THE NEXT PLAYERS WITH THE HIGHEST AVERAGES IN ALL DIVISIONS TO PLAY IN THE COMPETITION, AS WELL AS PLAYERS INVITED FROM ANY NEW TEAMS TO JOIN THE LEAGUE.
6} PLAYERS WHO HAVE SIGNED FOR A DIFFERENT CLUB (FOR WHATEVER REASON FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR,) THAT PLAYER WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE COMPETITION EVEN IF THAT PLAYER IS TOP OF THE AVERAGES FOR THEIR FORMER CLUB.
7} PLAYERS WHO SIGNED FOR A DIFFERENT TEAM IN THE SAME CLUB, WOULD BE ALLOWED TO PLAY IN THE COMPETITION.
8} AFTER THE INITIAL DRAW, PLAYERS WILL BE DRAWN AGAINST EACH OTHER ON THE FOLLOWING BASIS, (WINNER OF GAME 1 PLAYS WINNER OF GAME 2. WINNER OF GAME 3 PLAYS WINNER OF GAME 4 AND SO ON)

9} HANDICAPPING:
9a} INDIVIDUAL HANDICAPPING:
A1) PLAYERS ENTERING OR RE-ENTERING THE LEAGUE, WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY IN THE INVITATION SINGLES (DURING THEIR FIRST YEAR) CHANGED 2016
B1) PLAYERS BEING ENTERED INTO THE INVITATION SINGLES, AFTER ENTERING OR RE-ENTERING THE LEAGUE, WILL NOT BE HANDICAPPED FOR THE FIRST 2 YEARS IN THE LEAGUE.
C1) ANY PLAYERS BEING ALLOWED TO SIGN DOWN WILL NOT BE GIVEN A HANDICAP DURING THAT YEAR. (NEW 2006)

CONSTITUTION
1] THE LEAGUE:
THE LEAGUE SHALL BE CALLED THE ABERDARE VALLEY SNOOKER LEAGUE AND SHALL BE AFFILIATED TO THE W.B.S.A. & C.C.
2] MEMBERSHIP OF THE LEAGUE:
SHALL BE OPEN TO EVERYONE OVER THE AGE OF 16, IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR GENDER, NATIONALLY, RACE, DISABILITY, POLITICAL OR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS.
3] JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP:
JUNIOR MEMBERS UNDER THE AGE OF 16, WILL BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE LEAGUE. ON CONDITION THEY MEET THE HIGH STANDARDS THAT IS REQUIRED BY THE LEAGUE. ON ACCEPTANCE, BY THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.
3a] JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP WILL BE FREE.
4] THE OFFICERS OF THE LEAGUE:
THE OFFICERS OF THE LEAGUE SHALL CONSIST OF PATRON, PRESIDENT, CHAIRMAN (PERSON), VICE-CHAIRMAN (PERSON), VICE-PRESIDENTS, TREASURER AND SECRETARY.
5] THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE:
THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE SHALL CONSIST OF THE OFFICERS PLUS LIFE MEMBERS, ALL OF WHOM, OTHER THAN THE SECRETARY, SHALL BE ENTITLED TO VOTE AT ALL LEAGUE MEETINGS. IN THE EVENT OF A TIE, THE CHAIR SHALL HAVE A CASTING VOTE
6] ELECTIONS:
THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE SHALL BE ELECTED ANNUALLY AT THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, WHICH SHALL BE HELD IN JUNE EACH YEAR. THOSE ENTITLED TO VOTE AT THIS MEETING SHALL BE ONE REPRESENTATIVE OF EACH AFFILIATED CLUB, PLUS THE MEMBERS OF THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE OTHER THAN THE SECRETARY .IN THE EVENT OF A TIE, THE CHAIR SHALL HAVE A CASTING VOTE
7] NEWLY ELECTED OFFICERS:
(CHAIR, SECRETARY AND TREASURER) WILL BE ELECTED FOR ONE YEAR, THEREAFTER WILL BE ELECTED EVERY 2YEARS.
8] NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
CLUBS SHALL BE GIVEN AT LEAST 14 DAYS NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
9] THE AGENDA AT THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS.
A. Minutes of the Previous Annual General Meeting
B. Matters Arising
C. Financial Report
D. Auditors Report
E. Secretary’s Report
F. Election of Officers, Auditors and Life Members (If Any) and A W.B.S.A. & C.C. Delegate.
G. Any Amendments or Additions to The Constitution (Of Which 14 Days Notice Prior To An Annual General Meeting Shall Have Been Given)
H. Honoraria

10] DELEGATES MEETING:

A DELEGATES MEETING CONSISTING OF A REPRESENTATIVE OF EACH AFFILIATED CLUB PLUS MEMBERS OF THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE, SHALL MEET ON THE FIRST MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH (UNLESS CIRCUMSTANCES REQUIRE OTHERWISE) AND SHALL CONFIRM OR REJECT ALL DECISIONS OF THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE AND DEAL WITH ANY COMPETENT BUSINESS AFFECTING THE LEAGUE

11] A MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE AND/ OR DELEGATES MEETING:
A MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE AND/ OR DELEGATES MEETING SHALL BE HELD MONTHLY FROM SEPTEMBER TO MAY, AND AT ANY TIME IF SO REQUIRED
12] A SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING:
A SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING SHALL BE CALLED BY THE SECRETARY UPON RECEIPT OF A NOTICE SIGNED BY SEVEN MEMBER CLUBS. THE SECRETARY SHALL BE GIVEN 7 DAYS NOTICE OF A MEETING SO CALLED, THE NOTICE FOR WHICH SHALL STATE THE BUSINESS OF SUCH MEETING.
